I currently live in Plymouth, Devon with my wife and children having moved from Cambridgeshire in 2018 where I spent most of my life.
I have been actively involved in British traditional music for a number of years playing anglo-concertina. I also presented Make it Folky on Cambridge based 209Radio where I was on the board of directors, and I also sat on the board of the Ely Folk Festival.
I work with the excellent Ceilidh and Barn Dance Band Stumpy Oak and manage the Ceilidh Network.
I have been an Amateur Genealogist since the mid 1990s. A summary of my research is available here (I will fix this one day, I promise).
